A message from your ABC Board of Directors

Dear ABCs Members and Friends,

First and foremost, we hope you all are staying healthy and safe during this difficult time. Coronavirus may have us separated at the moment, but we are slowing working towards seeing everyone again. In the meantime, we have been brainstorming ways to help those in need. Last month, we teamed up with Vitalant and hosted a very successful blood drive along with sponsoring a food drive for Valley View Community Foodbank. Thank you to everyone who was able to come out, donate, and support the needs of Valley View Community Foodbank! We couldn’t have been successful without you.

Because of the positive outcome, Vitalant has asked us to do it again!

On Tuesday, August 18th we are hosting another blood drive in hopes to provide more donations for those lifesaving needs. Also, we have decided to sponsor another organization to provide even more for those in need. This month we will be sponsoring Eve’s Place Community Services.

Eve’s Place Community Services offers assistance for victims of domestic, sexual, and teen dating abuse in Maricopa County, Arizona. Each year, Eve’s Place Community Services holds a back-to-school drive in hopes of helping displaced families with children who are going back to school. This school year it’s even more imperative for donations. Due to COVID-19, school districts are offering “virtual learning” as a safe option for returning to school. Sadly, the items needed for this safe learning option are unprovided by schools for those children to be successful.

This is where you come in. We need your help! There is a list of items needed below.

Please join us for our Blood & Back-To-School Donation Drive!

An opportunity for all SCW businesses to mix and mingle with other community organizations.

The ABCs build stronger ties among the business community and the non-profits that serve the local SCW area.

We help local residents learn about what all's here and what we have to offer in this great town.
